The London Underground is widely considered the most popular transit speedrunning location. It has been a recurring Guinness World Record since 1960, and many fan-made alternative challenges on the Tube network have taken hold.
DISCLAIMER - Due to the size and nature of the Tube Challenge community, there is a lot that our site does not list. For the time being, we will only post runs that have either been approved by Guinness World Records, contain publicly available photo/video evidence that is compliant with our requirements, or were submitted to the TransitRuns team directly. However, we also believe that it would be wrong not to acknowledge that plenty of times have been logged over the years even if they do not fully align with our rules. We encourage you to visit ExplorerTicket and the Tube Challenge Forums for further research.
All Stops: Also known as the Full Network Challenge. Visit all 272 stations. This includes Olympia, both Bank and Monument, both Hammersmith stations, both Edgware Road stations, and both sets of platforms at Paddington. See the notes on the right for more details.
All Lines: Ride all 11 named lines at least one stop. For sections where multiple lines run on the same set of tracks, you can only count the line that the train is explicitly signed as. Your evidence must make clear which line your train is on at all times.
Zone 1: Visit all 67 stations in Zone 1 and Zone 1/2.
Sub-Surface Lines: Visit all 103 stations on the sub-surface lines (Circle, District, H&C, Metropolitan) while aboard one of those four lines (e.g. you can't use the Victoria Line to visit Victoria). Bank is not required, but Monument is.
Deep-Level Lines: Visit all stations on the deep-level lines (Bakerloo, Central, Jubilee, Northern, Piccadilly, Victoria, W&C) while aboard one of those seven lines (e.g. you can't use the Circle, District, or H&C Line to visit Paddington). Monument is not required, but Bank is. Only Hammersmith D+P is required.
Other Notes
Paddington is considered two stations: one is the Bakerloo Line, District Line, and Circle Line via Victoria; and the other is the H&C Line and Circle Line via King's Cross.
